In September 2019, Alex Martins, Jannai Mason-Dennis and Zak Scarborough joined Galliford Try as technical apprentices. Not only was this in support of our commitment to the framework’s Legacy charter, it was an opportunity to help young people build a career in construction, all while investing in our future and that of the wider industry.
After two years of juggling their personal lives, work, and study, all three have successfully completed their Level 3 Construction in the Built Environment NVQ, and in doing so, have brought new ideas, enthusiasm, and ambition into our business. Now firmly entrenched in the world of construction and enjoying the variety and opportunity it brings, Alex, Jannai and Zak have accepted places on our Trainee Management Programme as they now work towards their Level 4 qualification (HNC in Construction Management).
